Change is the only constant

Dear...

If everything is under constant change, then change is the only constant! Accepting this as a fact is a first step in becoming the one in charge of the changes in your life. It is like steering a ship or flying a plane. Instead of just undergoing the changes in your life unaware of where they might take you, become a leader of the changes in your life and go where you want to go. And if you know where you want to go, then start your journey of change. Don't stop when you get of track; don't stop when the wind or the current is against you and certainly don't stop when you can't see the end of your journey.  After all the fun of traveling is traveling.

Think about this: When a plane flies from Dallas to Amsterdam how often do you think this plane is of track? ... It might surprise you but, the answer is: constantly! Continually influenced by external factors the plane is of track all the time. But here is the thing. The pilot doesn't turn the plane around and neither does he lands the plane the moment it gets of track. No instead he keeps on flying and makes constant course corrections until he gets at the point of destination.

This is also true for the goals you want to achieve and the changes you want make in your life. As you understand now, it is certain that you will get off track. But if you focus on where you want to go and you make constant course corrections, you will get where you want to be!
